First, let me say that I am in absolute love with Ipsy! Not sure what Ipsy is? Let me explain. Ipsy is a monthly subscription bag that costs $10 per month (includes shipping). With the subscription you receive 1 absolutely adorable makeup bag & 4-5 deluxe or full sized beauty samples! & let me not forget that the products are tailored to you based on a beauty survey that you complete when you subscribe to Ipsy! This is my 2nd month being an Ipsy subscriber & I love, love, love it! I discovered Ipsy via a YouTube beauty guru & pondered on whether I should subscribe or not. I discussed with my best friend & she quickly subscribed. A few days later, I attempted & was wait listed for almost 2 months (BUMMER - because my bestie was receiving fab items & I was.... well, not receiving them! :( ). Anyway, about mid-March, I finally got the email that I was no longer wait listed - YAY!
On to the good stuff!
Let's discuss how cute this Chevron bag is! I am OBSESSED! Okay the first beauty item that I am completely in love with is the Mirabella Colour Sheers lipstick in the shade 'Charmed'. Firstly, this lipstick is exactly what it says sheer but, it is buildable. With that said, I loveeeeee the color. & the formula is great - very hydrating! My lips feel great when I'm wearing this lipstick! This lipstick retails for $22.00! The value of the bag has already DOUBLED (plus some). See, this is why I love Ipsy!
The next product that came in this month's bag was the Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss. I got the lipgloss in the shade Pink! First, let me say that this glass smells absolutely delicious! I'm pretty horrible at describing smells but an orange sherbet comes to mind when I smell this - yum, right?! Anyway, the color is a sheer-ish pink color (hence the name 'Pink', right?). It's a very hydrating gloss, as well, & what's even better? This company is an All Organic company. Love that! The value of this product via the Juice Beauty website is $15.00! Again, another product value that exceeds the amount that I paid for the ENTIRE Ipsy glambag!
The third product that I received in this month's bag was a Zoya nail polish. I received the shade 'Piaf' which a pastel yellow with gold sparkles & from the Zoya Spring 2013 'Lovely' collection! This nail polish is super pigmented! I'm not much for pastels since I'm very pale but, I did swatch this polish & the color is fabulous. I have recently become a nail polish hoarder (Thank you YouTube beauty guru CompactsAndCupcakes -- she's absolutely beautiful & her nail polish collection is bananas!). The value of this product is $8 & again, almost the price that the entire bag costs! See, you just can't go wrong with Ipsy!
The fourth item in my bag this month was a Yaby concealer refill in the shade 'Buff'. I'll be honest, I was a little scared when Ipsy released the sneak peek for this item on their Facebook page. I mean, I know we take a beauty survey that asks for our skin tone & such. But, I was still a bit scared that I wouldn't get the right shade. Thank you Ipsy for sending me the perfect shade. Anyway, this product has amazing coverage! You don't have to use a ton of product to cover up those dark circles (which is great)! The value of this product is $4.85.
& the last product in May's Ipsy bag was a Pacifica Coconut Crushed Pearl bronzing body butter. I almost always steer clear of anything that has "BRONZING" in the title because as I said earlier, I am a pale girl! I decided to try this & see how I liked it & I LOVE it! It smells fabulous, too! I honestly don't get much of a bronze from using the lotion but, I do get a nice sparkle & a fabulous coconut smelling skin! I probably would have never purchased this for myself but, I'm so glad that I received this item in my Ipsy bag. I love it! This was the only product that was not full sized in this month's bag but, it was a deluxe sample & should last me a while. The price for the full size bottle of this body butter is $24.00 & the deluxe sample is worth about $6.00.
All together, this month's bag has a value of $55.85 (not including the value of that cute chevron bag that I first mentioned) & I got it all for ONLY $10! Ipsy has been great to me, thus far & it is definitely worth the $10! If you'd like to sign up for Ipsy, please use my referral link here!

Palmolive SoftTouch Dish Detergent
Forgive me as I'm just starting out in the blogging world. It may take me a while to get used to this! (eeek!)
First things first -- Influenster! I have recently joined Influenster which is pretty much a sampling company. You take surveys, write reviews & if your score is high enough & you fit the demographics, you're selected to test products & in return, you must post reviews about them! One, I love free things & two, it's the summer & I'm a student (meaning no classes); so, LOTS of extra free time!
**Influenster as described on the company site**
Influenster is a free -to-join community of invited trendsetters who live to give opinions of products and experiences. Influenster creates links between brands and members to reward participation and influence future products.
The first product that was sent to me, was two full size bottles of Palmolive Soft Touch dish detergent ($4-6 depending on where you purchase it). I received the scents Vitamin E & Coconut Butter. I chose to keep the Coconut Butter scent & gave the bottle of Vitamin E to my younger sister. So far, I absolutely LOVE this dish detergent. It smells fabulous & I am noticing that the detergent isn't as harsh on my hands as some of the other detergents that I have used in the past. (& it was FREE!) Palmolive just may be my new 'go-to' brand for dish detergent.
Thanks, Influenster!
